Leave Me Alone
About a few months ago during the fall of 2025, I was in the process of writing a new novel. I decided to come out of my temporary hiatus from publishing and then worked on a new project.
After chatting with an author on X (formerly Twitter), I got inspired by this great idea from them.
The idea was that my intention was to turn one of my best short stories into a novel.
That fictional work is Leave Me Alone.
In a nutshell, there will be certain themes mentioned in this novel that may contain trigger warnings.
Survival: One of the main themes in this novel will be about surviving the aftermath of texting and driving.
Moving On: There will be mentions of grief and guilt followed by the aforementioned tragedy.
Leaving and Staying: The entire purpose of this novel will be about choosing whether to stay or go.
Traumatic: There will be mentions of post-traumatic stress disorder followed by the tragedy of texting and driving.
Romantic Abhorrence: The main imperative theme of this novel will be about letting go of a toxic relationship and moving on to a healthier relationship. There will be tensions between love and hate.
I am elated enough that I will have the chance to upgrade my status as a published author. By the time Leave Me Alone is published, it will be exhilarating. The depth in this novel will bring awareness to the audience pertaining to the main themes within, especially the dangerous causes and effects of texting and driving. I can promise you that.
I am excited to have Leave Me Alone published.
