Shards

Staring at the shattered mirror; each shard showing multiple reflections of me.

As I perceived the distorted glass image, I wonder to myself, “Am I truly a single person? Or are there multiple personalities of me?”

Who am I? What am I?

Who is this person I have become?

I may not know who I am.

All I know for sure is that the glass reflection never lies.

Broken or unbroken.

Sticks and Stones

Sticks may tear my heart. Stones may shatter my bones.

Every time I break apart, the moon loses its light and the sun loses its shine.

Whenever the darkness and coldness appear, I begin to lose myself.

Losing myself to this ordeal of being broken and torn.

As the dawn breaks, something continues to tear and break.

My heart and my soul caused by unwanted memories.

The screams remain silent as I attempt to break free from the melancholia of broken dreams.

Don’t let it get to me as I break away from melancholy.

Swipe Left

I’m erasing you from my mind.

I’m leaving you behind.

You were not the one for me.

You were not enough for me.

I’m moving on from the pain.

The pain you brought to my brain.

It was wrong of me to swipe right.

We are now done.

As of now…

I’m swiping left.

Even in Death

I cannot take it any longer.

Ever since your last breath, my heart bleeds for you.

Whisper songs through my mind; siren calls from you.

Dark clouds are wandering through the starless night sea of melancholy; where you are now.

Wherever I glance, you are there.

I cannot breathe anymore.

Breathless among your deceased soul.

Spirits of melancholia amalgamate; simply you and I.

Storm clouds thunder; I can hear you weeping for me.

I weep the same.

Even in death, we will never be broken apart.

I long to die with you.

Never Evanesce

Candlelight stars surrounding the moon above the infinite luminescent ocean at the break of dawn.

Never evanesce.

Speak to me as I listen to the silent whispers of the waves roaming through the wind of infinity.

Never evanesce, never fade away to oblivion.
